What to Wear ~ Summer Photography Session

Summer is here in Perth and I have been scouring the internet looking for the latest looks to guide you on what to wear for an outdoor photography shoot. Its actually great fun for me as I am basically online shopping for hours on end (not great on the bank account though) 🙂

I know it can be a really hard task for us mums to put together the perfect look and if you haven’t already read my tips in my Autumn look blog then please have a read before you start choosing clothes.

Here are some important tips to remember……

  1.  Be true to yourself and your style…..if you love wearing jeans, wear jeans.  If you love bold pattern dresses, wear that!

The photographic shoot needs to reflect you and your families personality above everything as these memories are going in your home and on your walls.

2.  Avoid big logos, this is a big no no in the photography world, remember your not endorsing Nike.

3.  Lay the clothes out and see what they look like together, it gives you a great visual aid, from there you can add and remove items to get the perfect look.

4.  Layering is also a perfect way to tie it all together.  Adding in a tan belt and scarf can make all the difference, so if your finding the look a little bland delve into your belt/scarf/jewellery collection and layer up.

Your photographer wants the very best outcome for you as well as for them.  So if your really stuck, always remember you can send them a quick photo for some help and advice.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy the summer looks.
