I offer two main types of sessions: Family and Newborn. The sessions are structured a little differently but they all focus on family connection, love and all of those intricate details that make up the here and now and tell your story.
My session fee is your initial investment and is due at the time of booking. The session fee includes my time and talent as a photographer, pre planning of your session, a design and ordering consultation either at your home or via a private online gallery and post-editing of your photographs.

newborn creative session $200
Preparing for the birth of your newborn is a wonderful and exciting time in your family’s life. Time doesn’t stand still and your newborn will change so fast you will be saying ‘where did my baby go’. My newborn sessions are relaxed and intimate and are all about your beautiful baby and the love and bond you have for the newest addition.
The session is done in the comfort of your home and takes roughly 2-3 hours. I absolutely love being able to offer home newborn sessions for my clients as I know how comfortable you feel in your own home. It also has a great advantage if you have other children as they can play, sleep and eat without too much disturbance.
The best time to photograph your newborn is between 5-10 days old. I cannot book an exact time and date of your session, however, I can add your delivery date to my diary in lieu of a session date. I ask that you let me know as soon as your baby is born and I will make myself available when you are home from the hospital.
You can ‘add on’ a maternity session for $100 which is similar to my outdoor family sessions. First 48 sessions, which are an intimate session during the first 48 hours of your newborns life, are also available as an extra for $100 or you can book all three for $350. Maternity sessions are best taken from 32 weeks and all newborn sessions include 25 custom designed announcement cards.

Family sessions are all about the bond and love you have for each other. They are filled with laughter, fun, embraces and lots of love. I aim to capture moments rather than poses and for you to have a timeless portrait that is treasured for years to come. To me, the perfect photograph of your family showcases each individual member’s personality and embraces the crazy.
My family sessions are photographed outdoors in the beautiful landscapes Perth has to offer. I photograph when the light is best, so early morning or late afternoon. They are suitable for all ages and are available all year round. Weekdays and weekends are available however, book well in advance if you require a weekend session especially during peak seasons of autumn and spring.

What happens after the session?
How long until I get my photographs?
This depends on what you have ordered. Fine art prints, wall art and digital collections take roughly 4 weeks from the date you ordered. Custom albums are handmade and take roughly 6-8 weeks from the date you placed your order.
Do I get digital files with my session fee?
High resolutions photographs are available to purchase but are not included in the session fee, the session fee is my time and talent to capture your family.
What is your cancellation policy?

Referring my business is a wonderful compliment to me as a photographer and I value your trust and kindness by offering you and your friend both $100 towards your orders.
How much will it cost for my portraits?
This is completely up to the individual. I have and will always be transparent with my pricing and ensure you are comfortable with the prices before booking in your session. I detest pushy or emotional sales tactics and will allow you the freedom to choose whatever your heart desires.

I am a digital photographer, which allows me so much more control over removing unwanted hairs or scratches than when I was photographing in film. But I do keep my retouching to a basic minimum so you and your family still look like yourselves.
A first 48 session is the first 48 hours of your newborns life. It’s a unique session as it captures so much raw reality of your baby meeting your family for the first time and those magical moments you experience when you finally get to meet him or her.
What is a first 48 session?
After your session its time for me to get to work and prepare all your beautiful memories. You can choose two different options to view your photographs:
1. I can come to your home and do a presentation and help you select your favourites and discuss with you your order. This is a great way for me to visualise your home and how you want to display your photographs and also to guide you through what works well; or
2. I will send you a password protected online gallery with your photographs along with some design presentation ideas. We can discuss via phone and email what you are hoping to achieve and we work together to complete your portraits goal.
The AIPP is the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and I have been a member for over a decade. To be an accredited member you need to have gone through the AIPP accreditation process and to keep your accreditation you need to continue professional development with extra learning every year.
To achieve a Master of Photography status you need to enter the national awards and your photographs entered need to receive awards from Silver to Gold Distinction. This takes a few years of hard work and dedication but I am honoured to have my Masters.
