My very first call with Carie I instantly connected with this mumma of 3! Her love and passion for her kids and family shone through but most importantly her love of ensuring she GETS family portraits was even more refreshing. I adored her home, her walls were covered with family photos and it gave me a thrill the photographs I took for them where going to be featured front and center among them all.

My favourite question to all my families is “If you could relive a moment in time what would that be?” And every answer is always so unique and special and I totally forgot what Carie had written until today. I couldn’t help but smile as I was looking upon her photographs from our session, they were very much like her favourite moment!

“Beach moments that are never long enough…never enough time to chase the waves, make footprints in the sand and watch the sun go down without rushing back for the night routine. Eddie wanting to crawl through the sand towards his brothers and mum and dad needed longer to soak in the atmosphere.”

I mostly do smaller photographs for this blog ~ but I am a photographer and I simply cannot stop enjoying and loving seeing these images large and up close.
